The Beauty of Art & Life

When you create a piece of art, you can stop at any time. You can reach a point where it starts to look all right, where the canvas starts to take shape and begins to look like something. You can put down the brush and you can step away from the easel any time you want. You could keep going. You could keep playing with it, keep layering the paint and seeing where it takes you.

To The Girl Behind the Mask

I had always hated masks. I found one today while going through some items packed away in a dusty corner in storage. Upon opening the box that should have been marked "things I kept putting at the back of the attic so I didn't have to deal with them" I pulled out the black mask and held it in my fingers.

Standing At The Crossroads

The Crossroads. Is there a more confusing or powerful place to behold? Here in this domain of decision we all find ourselves rooted from time to time. All paths that we walk lead to the crossroads and when we arrive we can choose only one of the paths that venture onward. Sometimes we must have faith in a leap. Sometimes we must calculate and weigh the risks.

Hecate is a powerful ally when we find ourselves standing at the crossroads. She is known as the Queen of Witches and the Queen of Ghosts, she is a guardian of the spirit world and can see deep into the unseen with her dark intuitive magick. She is connected with the dark aspect of the Moon and the magic that is found in the shadows.

Labradorite

Labradorite is a stone of transformation. Like the glimmering and shifting rainbow of colors that dance along the surface of this beautiful stone, it brings to us the energy of movement and is a good stone to have with us during times of change. The Inuit thought that the stones contained the frozen rainbow fire of the Northern Lights that had fallen to the Earth below.

Year of Truth

This was a year of taking off the blinders. This was a year of illumination and letting go. This was the year of releasing the need to search relentlessly for what we are taught to want and instead opening to the desires that whisper from our heart.  This was the year of really listening to our inner knowing. This is the year we allowed the authenticity of who we are to shine.

The Earth Is My Temple

My old soul is at home in the forest The Earth is my temple Fallen trees my altar Leaves the scrolls on which ancient wisdom is written The wind in the branches the hymns in my ears Moss green is the carpet on which I rest my weary bones Grounding me in sacred communion with the soil Worshiping the divine nature surrounding me Digging my roots in deep

Auralite 23 or Kindred Spirit Crystal as it is sometimes called is an extremely high vibration, rare and powerful stone to add to your arsenal. Sometimes called a bridge to the divine, this beautiful stone is a connection deep to the energies of the unseen, higher awareness, awakening, telepathic communication and connecting with spirit guides and past lives.

You Deserve To Be Celebrated

Sometimes something on Facebook catches my eye and gets me into a place of deep thinking. A friend of mine who I admire and respect greatly is in the same field as her husband. They run a business together, compete in their field in similar ways, train, promote and advertise together.
