The Crossroads. Is there a more confusing or powerful place to behold?
Here in this domain of decision we all find ourselves rooted from time to time.
All paths that we walk lead to the crossroads and when we arrive we can choose only one of the paths that venture onward.
Sometimes we must have faith in a leap.
Sometimes we must calculate and weigh the risks.
Sometimes fate moves us in directions where we feel our hands are tied.
How do you quiet the mind and let your heart have a say in the unfolding?
How do you honor your heart while letting your mind have a logical voice?
Is there any sense in logic or should emotion only decide?
Everything falls apart from time to time.
We are constantly in the process of transformation.
The crossroads are a portal into a new way of thinking, being and living. In one swift moment we can decide to transform things completely.
We are one thought away from a completely new way of moving forward. We can die to the old ways and be reborn anew all by stepping onto a different path.
We are the masters of our fate.
We hold the scissors and cut the fabric of our life weaving the tapestry of our choosing. We pick the thread, or the components, which we weave.
The people, the places, all our choice.
We choose which scraps to cut away and what holes to patch back up and keep. We choose which games we play and which we choose to cut away.
As we surround ourselves, so it shall be.
We choose.
We are always at the crossroads at every minute in every breath deciding how every moment afterwards will play out. We never stop picking. A phrase, a word a thought, each one a catalyst for transformation. We move in the direction of our focus.
Where we choose to fixate our gaze becomes our road chosen.
In the end, all of it is our path.
There is no right or wrong choice, only the choice that is best for us in there here and now. It's not the same for everyone and it's not meant to be. Each of our individual expressions are our own, none of them bad or wrong, just a reflection of our decisions in the here and now.
What do you choose?
