We live in a world on the knife's edge of great change.
We question our place in a system that isn't fair. We struggle to make sense of a society that seems hell-bent on oppression, violence, creating rules and regulations to keep those who need lifting up the most down. We are part and parcel to a rule book that brainwashed us into believing that we need to swallow our anger, be quiet and not make a fuss. We are constantly fed the lies that we need to be calm not ferocious, and above all to push down our fire.
They tell us that order is in order and that raising our voices leads to chaos.
What they don't tell you is the fire they try to extinguish is their downfall, not yours.
They're protecting themselves, not you. Your fire is your salvation.
Your passion is the destruction of the old rule book that they hold so dear.
All too often, we roll over too quickly into numb acceptance, blocking our feelings and pushing down our desires. We cut ourselves off and take the quiet path, the calm road. We adopt a zen-like sense of conceding that everything is fine. No fire, no passion.
The world doesn't need you passive dammit, it needs your passion.
That's why they don't want you to be angry, disappointed or to speak out. They want to water down all of your fire. Fire energy is movement. Movement is change. Change is not good for the system. They want you frozen, numb and unmoving. You're easier to deal with that way.
They tell us that it's uncomfortable when we raise our voices. Good. The pressure of the uncomfortable is what's needed for great change. Things don't change when we're comfy. We need to stretch the limits of what was into what is possible. And that takes us igniting our fire.
Step out of the comfort zone that was taught to you and into the flames of your truth. Revel in your desires; don't water them down, raise them up!
You're not meant to come here and swallow the inferno that races along your veins. You're here to set it free.
