The time has come to take back your temple.

I don't mean your house or your sacred altar space; I mean your body. And I don't mean run it around in circles trying to starve it into a shape you believe will bring you happiness or your true love; I mean take it back in the name of yourself.

Grab yourself and say, "Hey, you're mine. I'm not going to put you through hell because I feel you should conform to any external ideal. Yes, we can walk the path of health and wellness if and how we choose, and yes I want to take care of you. We can lift, and jog and yoga. Anything you want.

But I'm not going to beat you up anymore in hatred or weigh you on the scales of expectations from an advertising brainwashed society. No. You're mine. You belong to me and I love you. From here on out, it's me and you.

I reject the term "real woman" to solely define one limited aspect of the feminine and acknowledge that ALL of us are real women, no matter what. Curvy, thin, tall, short, striped and polka-dotted. They have taken and changed the words to describe women so much in the history of this world and I won't let them change the way I feel about you because of the way they change the definitions of words. I will not contribute to the ongoing shame of any version of the divine feminine. Each woman is a real woman. Deal with it.

I'm not going to cry and hold onto that pair of hidden closet pants that is from a time long past and a galaxy far away like some measuring stick ideal I need to adhere to once more. I'm going to get rid of them and the expectation that I need to stay the exact same during the course of this life even with the expansion of my being and all of the experiences that are a part of my reality. I change. My body changes. My pants will change.

I am done fearing foods depending on what is in popular style and opinion for me to put in my mouth this week. I will embrace the changes in what I crave like the seasons themselves. I will eat from the vast nutrition rainbow from broccoli to chocolate. I will not let myself feel badly because I chose to eat a piece of cake. It's cake. No one should ever shame you for having your cake and eating it too.

I will stand up for all women to be in a place of love for their temples and not in loathing. No one has any right to dictate labels that are placed upon you nor should they shame you into being anything other than your amazing self. The sooner we stand together in support of all of womankind, the sooner we take back the power and all temples worldwide. All women are real women and I stand with them as I do you.

We're in this together. I'll be with you until the end, so let's do this."
