Eagle hasn't shown up to me for a very long time, other birds seem to have been flying my skies lately, owls and hawks. But not today. Today Eagle found me.
Eagle is a sign of strength, independence, freedom, courage, connection to spirit guides, gaining a new perspective from a different view of situations, teaching higher truths, and a deep connection to inner knowing. The eagle is a sacred messenger carrying our prayers on its wings to the Creator/Great spirit.
Earlier I had been speaking of Spirit Guides, and the photo even had an Eagle in it that I had posted. Perhaps a new spirit guide is making itself known. The strength and independence of the Eagle medicine come at a very auspicious time as I close down and release my ties to the old corporate world and i take this as a sacred message of freedom and blessing.
The power and resonance in this visit gave me a shiver up my spine. Ah, how the spirits and animals know what we need on our path the most when we need signs. All we need to do is open our eyes and see.
