"There is no treasure greater on Earth than having someone see right down to your true depths and embracing all that you are; shadow and light made visible to the souls eye and every facet held equally beautiful." ~Ara

There is a sacred simplicity in being seen. In being understood.

To be felt right into the depths of our deep souls in our authentic truth.

To be bathed in the waters of this deep knowing and be received completely in the divine sea of connection.

To be heard when your voice is but a whisper.

To be able to let the walls around your heart fall and be in that wild expanse without fear.

To exist where there is no judgement and only the acceptance granted by open spirits and kind hearts is a foreign language to us.

We get so used to being misunderstood we don't know what it tastes like to be truly held in all of the magnificence of our being.

We need to accept and embrace ourselves first. We know this.

But we spend so much time in the place of loving ourselves, sometimes we forget what it feels like to be loved and embraced for who we are by those around us.

There are those who exist on this world forged from the same soul tribe as us. They get it; they get us.

This depth of understanding creates a freedom which is unparalleled.

The freedom and beauty of embodying who we are around others and being embraced fully and openly.

In the perfect storm we find them.

Treasure them, these rare unearthly beings.

The ones that see.

The ones that hold you.

The ones who celebrate your brilliant being.

"When you find the person you love, an act of ancient recognition brings you together. It is as if millions of years before the silence of nature broke, your lover’s clay and your clay lay side by side.

Then in the turning of the seasons, your one clay divided and separated. You began to rise as distinct clay forms, each housing a different individuality and destiny. Without even knowing it, your secret memory mourned your loss of each other.

While your clay selves wandered for thousands of years through the universe, your longing for each other never faded.

This metaphor helps to explain how in the moment of friendship two souls suddenly recognize each other. It could be a meeting on the street, or at a party or a lecture, or just a simple, banal introduction, then suddenly there is the flash of recognition and the embers of kinship glow.

There is an awakening between you, a sense of ancient knowing. Love opens the door of ancient recognition. You enter.

You come home to each other at last."
