We put our faith in the Moon, in the Seers, and in nature because your rules and regulations never called to our wild spirit. Because your constraints left us starving, and begging for more.
Our souls were shriveled on the bondage of chains until our hearts cried out in anguish, no more.
We peeled off the unworthiness that you painted upon us and discarded it relishing in the naked bare feeling of the truth on our skins.
We know now why you would conceal such wonder, such brilliance as this medicine that we carry within us like a shining jewel.
You fear us. You fear our capacity to love and to create.
You fear our power. You fear our potential.
You fear the healing that we bring in the gifts we are here to offer.
You brainwashed the world to see those who spoke against your structure as trouble, evil and toxic.
You tried to tell us we were too loud and that we didn't fit.
You tried to convince us our powers and beliefs were irrelevant and impossible.
You tried to bury us, our intuition, and our wisdom.
And you failed.
We rise now, awakened to our once slumbering power, determined never to be buried within your system again.
We are here to live the medicine that swims within our veins, unapologetic in the room we take up and the voices that howl to the skies.
Rigid beliefs and structure without room for expansion crumble. Paradigms built on a bedrock of hate and fear fall.
But the power that we grow, an ever burning sea of light that we ignite for one another on the path forward, this is nurtured by love.
And that you can never extinguish or bury.
We will always rise.
