My old soul is at home in the forest
The Earth is my temple
Fallen trees my altar
Leaves the scrolls on which ancient wisdom is written
The wind in the branches the hymns in my ears
Moss green is the carpet on which I rest my weary bones
Grounding me in sacred communion with the soil
Worshiping the divine nature surrounding me
Digging my roots in deep
Sacred the song of the wild that sings
To the freedom of this spirit
Nature is the heartbeat that calls to me
Flowing in my veins
As the Northern lights dance
Green flames in the heavens
Painting the night with fire
My temple is here
My house of holy reverance
Offering me sweet sanctuary and salvation
I am here
I am home
I am free
